The premium brand showcases its extraordinary collections, ‘Pura’ and ‘Wonderwall,’ in a stunning Secret Garden exhibition.

As a pioneer of innovation in the ceramic industry, Cotto d’Este, a premium brand of Panariagroup, is set to participate in the Milan Design Week from April 17-23, 2023. Marking its 30th anniversary, the brand will celebrate the beauty, exclusivity, charm, and versatility of its collections in a series of events throughout the week.

For this special occasion, the Via Quintino Sella 5 showroom, located in the beautiful Piazza Castello, will transform into “The Secret Garden.” This dreamlike, imaginative space represents the birthplace of new design concepts. Stylized ceramic sculptures and dramatic walls inspired by nature will invite visitors to enter a secret garden of materials, architecture, and creativity. This metaphorical space represents the project opportunities offered by Cotto d’Este’s surfaces and coverings, paying homage to nature as a source of inspiration and focus for the brand.

The Secret Garden will highlight two extraordinary collections: “Pura,” a tribute to balance and naturalness, and “Wonderwall,” one of the brand’s most eclectic series.

Demonstrating its ability to embody the best of Italian craftsmanship, The Secret Garden also serves as an opportunity to celebrate the brand’s 30-year foundation and the innovations that have shaped the international ceramic sector. One such innovation is the ultra-thin slabs that represent the pinnacle of technology, aesthetics, and sustainability. These slabs, with their 2/3 reduction in traditional thickness, enable energy savings, reduced raw material consumption, and lower water usage. Furthermore, they have a smaller impact on transportation and are the first 100% carbon-neutral ceramic surface.

Additionally, the ultra-thin slabs utilize the revolutionary, patented Kerlite Easy installation system, which allows for dry placement of slabs, thereby avoiding demolition debris from previous floors. This system enables slab recovery in case of relocation and promotes circular economy interventions.

To further emphasize the brand’s leading role in the history of Italian architecture and interior design, Cotto d’Este will also participate in the Solferino Design Week program. This project, curated by Corriere della Sera, Living, and Abitare, will take place at the historic Corriere della Sera headquarters on Via Solferino, open to the public for the first time. With an exhibition designed by Migliore and Servetto, Corriere della Sera will celebrate time and the evolution of habits, style, and taste. This is the perfect context for Cotto d’Este, as it has guided the evolution of ceramic materials and their applications in increasingly sustainable and innovative architectures over the past 30 years.

Indulge in the enchanting world of Cotto d’Este at Milan Design Week 2023, where the brand’s awe-inspiring achievements and stunning collections will be on full display in the exquisite Secret Garden.
